Match the survey to the demolition scope
Whole-building demolition, selective interior demolition and exterior rehabilitation create different testing needs. Provide drawings, work areas and access information whenever available.
Document the method and limitations
A useful survey report explains what was inspected, how components were tested or sampled, what areas were inaccessible and how results are organized. Avoid treating a limited survey as a universal property conclusion.
Coordinate with the broader project team
Lead findings may influence work planning, worker-protection decisions, waste characterization or other project requirements. Those responsibilities should be assigned to the appropriate qualified parties.
